PARRENT COMMUNICATION

Be sure to contact any parent whose child has below a C average. These students are considered "At Risk" and we want to be sure we have had communication with parents before the end of the grading period. 

PEP RALLY SCHEDULE

Pep Rally Class Schedule (LAMS)

6th Grade

6th period will end at 2:40 (6th grade team will adjust as needed prior to 6th period)

 

7th and 8th Grade

6th Period will end at 2:00

7th Period will begin at 2:05 and end at 2:40

 

Pep Rally

LAMS dismissed the pep rally at 2:40 and will sit on the west side of the gymnasium.  6th grade at the south end, 7th grade on the north end, and 8th grade in the middle.

GRANDPARENTS & SPECIAL FRIENDS DAY(OCTOBER 26TH)
The flow of the day will be the same as last year. There will be a formal program at Allen Arena and then there will be an informal time set aside for Grandparents' Moments at the Middle School. They will spend their time visiting their grandchild's teacher. We will send out detailed information as we get closer to the date.

Heart and Mind is in full swing and we are thoroughly enjoying getting to share this time with you all and the students! 

Friendly Reminders: 

1. Heart and Mind is a protected time. 

2. Everyone has received Google calendar invites for the days Marygrace or I will be in your classroom. If you can't remember when we're coming in, check there first!

3. At this point the calendar is not flexible. Please use it to plan ahead for classroom instruction.

We have covered a lot so far and are looking forward to continuing these lessons throughout the rest of the year! Thank you for your grace as we learn how to navigate this schedule that is new to all of us.
